This policy explains how Tip Toeing in My Jordans ("we") handles personal data when you use Tip Toeing in My Jordans at tiptoeinginmyjordans.me.
What we collect
- Account data: your email address, name, and profile picture if you sign in with Google. Passwords are stored only as a salted hash.
- What you upload and create: the photos and text you submit, and the videos generated from them.
- Payment data: what you bought, when, and the amount. Card, Apple Pay and Google Pay payments are handled by Waffo Pancake and PayPal payments by PayPal; we never receive your full card number.
- Usage data: pages you visit, the features you use, your browser and device type, an approximate location from your IP address, and where you came from (for example a search engine or a link with campaign parameters).
Why we use it
- To run the Service: sign you in, generate your videos, keep your credit balance and deliver emails you need (verification, password reset, "your video is ready").
- To take payments and prevent fraud and abuse.
- To understand how the site is used and improve it.
- To meet legal obligations.
Who processes it for us
We share data only with providers that help us run the Service, and only what they need:
- AI model providers, which receive your photos and text to generate videos;
- Cloudflare R2, which stores uploads and videos;
- Neon and Vercel, which host our database and website;
- Resend, which sends our emails;
- Waffo Pancake and PayPal, which process payments;
- PostHog and Google Analytics, which measure site usage.
We don't sell your personal data.
Cookies and analytics
We use cookies that the site needs to work (for example to keep you signed in) and cookies that measure usage. If you visit from the EU, the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, we ask before setting measurement cookies, and you can change your choice any time with "Cookie settings" in the footer. Advertising features are off for everyone.
How long we keep it
- Uploaded photos, including photos sent from your phone with a QR code, are deleted 7 days after upload. Still previews are deleted after 7 days too.
- Videos are kept until you delete them or your account.
- Payment records are kept as long as tax and accounting law requires.
- Webhook records from payment providers are trimmed after 30 days.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, or object to how we use it. Write to support@tiptoeinginmyjordans.me from the email address on your account and we'll answer within 30 days. If you are in the EU or UK you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
The Service is not for anyone under 18. We don't knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
We'll post any change to this policy on this page and update the date above. Material changes will also be announced by email.
